Using the statue’s special ability, you’ll see a path that leads you to the final shard on the far end of the pillars. The last one, however, requires you to take a stone statue on top of a floating platform to get on top of the pillars. All of them are littered around the edges of the area where the poison lake is.
02: Moon Shards In The Sand: The second mandatory power moon you need to get is this simple one where you must collect five moon shards. Simply keep heading up the large tower the game sets as your first way point and you’ll find it waiting for you. 01: Atop The Highest Tower: One of the easiest moons in the Sand Kingdom as its your first quest in this area. Power Moon locations Regular Power Moons Once Mario has collected enough Power Moons, he can head off to the next kingdom - either the Lake Kingdom or the Wooded Kingdom may be chosen, but not both at this point. Defeating this boss rewards Mario with another Multi Moon, which (when collected) reverts the kingdom back to daytime and causes almost all the ice on the surface of the kingdom to melt, allowing access to more Power Moons. Once the player enters, he must traverse through an icy Underground Temple and then fight Knucklotec at the end of the Temple. The kingdom is also overrun by Chinchos during the night-time, which Mario must avoid as he heads to the large hole under the Inverted Pyramid. When collected, the player is teleported back to the Odyssey, and the kingdom cycles to a night-time version, where the Inverted Pyramid floats into the air, revealing a large hole underneath. After that, they reach the top of the Inverted Pyramid and fight Hariet, one of the Broodals, which will grant the player a Multi Moon. From there, the player must find Moon Shards in the sand. The player's first objective in this kingdom is to reach the "highest tower". When Mario first visits here, the kingdom is covered with large pillars of ice and Bowser is found atop the Inverted Pyramid. Colossal Ruins a racetrack-like area over a sea of poison featuring several Rocket Flowers.

Ice Cave, an underground area with ice platforms and crushing pillars. The Inverted Pyramid, an upside-down pyramid. Moe-Eye Habitat, an area inhabited by Moe-Eyes. Tostarena Ruins, a ruins that lies at north of Tostarena Town. Your eye will be drawn to the large stone tower at the heart of the ruins. The colorful buildings and cheerful people provide a warm welcome for visitors, head north from town and you'll be greeted by ancient ruins that dot the expansive desert.
